The very first play I did in university was Midsummers Nights Dream. I played Titania, and had no idea what I was doing. The director/professor was able to make Shakespeare come alive for me. I had studied it in high school, and was not impressed. I want our kids to be able to enjoy the Bard like that...it's a work in progress ;)
The introduction classes, and the Robys have created a magical Illiryia, the actors have strived to grasp their characters as well as storylines. Each show brings us closer to our goals...are we there yet, not quite yet, but do they understand a little bit better...I think yes...
"All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.’
-William Shakespeare
...and some of our actors know their exits and entrances...and many of them are playing several parts...
