Shrek The Musical is everything you expect from the story of our favorite crude green ogre.  However, there are some wonderfully unexpected things that happen while watching this story unfold in musical form. The songs, occasionally, give us an opportunity to discuss things that are only touched on in the films. How does it feel to be perceived as different? Do we conform or embrace our uniqueness? How do we find our tribe while also embracing what makes us one of a kind?

Shrek encourages us to look beyond what we see and accept others despite our differences. We hope you laugh at every joke, forgive our expulsion of gas, and tap along with the songs. We also hope you look at how you view yourself and others and come to a similar conclusion that our cast, pit, and crew have come to…“We are different and United. You are us and we are you. This is our story!”
