OVERVIEW
Godspell is a classic and timeless musical. It revolves around a troupe of traveling performers that consider how to build a community. To do this they reenact several biblical parables with a contemporary view. The music is by Stephen Schwartz of Wicked and Pippin fame. The show begins fun and funny, but it becomes more serious in tone as it looks at the sacrifices that must be made to create and sustain faith, love, and community. The cast is an eclectic mix of personalities with differing musical and comedy styles. It is good for the entire family.
