Director's Note
Wow. What an incredible experience it has been for us to direct Lion King Jr! As the very first elementary musical, EVER for Lakewood, we had some high expectations of our cast. And THEY PULLED IT OFF! They have worked so hard to not only memorize all their lines and learn all the songs and blocking, but they also are learning what it's like to be a part of a big production and cast. We are so grateful God gave us this opportunity to instill into the hearts of these elementary kids a love for theater and the arts. Thank you to Lakewood for letting us take this giant on. Thank you to all the parents who made sure their child was dedicated to this musical and all the practices. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help make set pieces, create props and make costumes. Finally, thank you God for giving each one of these kids the talent to shine.
We can't wait for you to experience LPCS's FIRST EVER elementary musical, Lion King Jr!
