Ralph Siemsen

Producer/Music Director

Mr. Siemsen has taught Marching and Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, and Peer Counseling at LHS and currently teachers Madrigals, Guitar, and Concert Choir. He is a graduate of Wilson HS and USC, sang and toured professionally with the Ray Conniff Singers, and worked as a ride operator (a pirate!) and in Entertainment (as a stage manager) at Disneyland.
Cynthia McGarity

Director

Cynthia has been a professional singer, director, and vocal coach for over 25 years, working for NBC (Parks & Rec), PBS (where her recording on an Emmy!), The Young Americans, and Disneyland. She has worked with Brian Stokes Mitchell, Stephanie J. Block, and Shirley Jones. She feels blessed to have worked on Legally Blonde at LHS. Snaps!
Sjaan Trowbridge

Choreographer

Sjaan Z. Trobridge has worked for the Walt Disney Company since 1996 as an entertainer, a choreographer, and a teacher. Prior to Disney, she choreographed a parade for the 2002 Olympics, has performed on cruises, and has acted in numerous musicals. Her favorite role has been Mom to Ellee and wife to Robin!
Ronald Mahan

Technical Director

This is Mr. Mahan’s 3rd year as Theatre Technical Director for Lakewood High School; previously he served in the same position at Wilson High School (his Alma Mater) for 33 years. He also worked at Knott’s Berry farm in the Entertainment Technical Department, and he serves as Tech.l Director and Board Member of Joseph Musli’s “The American Museum of Theatrical Design” in Santa Ana, CA.
Melissa Palmer

Orchestra

Mrs. Palmer is the Director of the LHS Instrumental Music program. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association. Melissa Palmer is an active clinician and adjudicator for marching band competitions and jazz festivals. As a saxophonist, she continues to perform professionally in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.
