Matthew Klug

Director

Matthew Klug is a LHS alumni (99) who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Currently a production director and audio engineer, Matthew continues to direct, act and improvise within the Detroit Metro area. Stage credits include: “Urinetown” “A Patch of Earth” “Polish Joke” “The Robber Bridegroom” “Our Town” “Back of the Throat” “You Can’t Take it With You” and “Of Mice and Men” (Lenny) 

Directing credits include: "Mamma MIa" “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” “Godspell” and “A Christmas Carol” He would like to thank Lakeview Public Schools for the opportunity, the cast for all their hard work, and Rebecca and Jonas for being so selfless and understanding.

Madison Cooper

Asst. Director

Madison Cooper is an alumni who teaches English, yearbook, and drama at Lakeview High School. From joining the cast of “Annie Get Your Gun” to playing in the pit for “Wizard of Oz,” the Lakeview musicals have been an important foundational experience in her life. She would like to thank her husband David for supporting her involvement in the production team.

Izzy Rexroad

Asst. Student Director

Izzy Rexroad is a 10th grader at Lakeview High School. Stage credits include "Curtains" and "The King and I". This is Izzy's first experience behind the scenes as an Asst. Director. On top of theater, Izzy enjoys golfing, shopping, and traveling. She would like to thank her fellow production team members, and the cast of "Matilda the Musical" for this amazing experience.

Jessica Vaughan

Vocal Director/Producer

Jessica Vaughan is the Vocal Director, Producer, and District Liaison for the Lakeview Community Theatre Guild. She is a Lakeview alumna who is also the Choir Director and Drama Teacher at JMS. She grew up performing on Lakeview’s stage in orchestra, choir, and musicals. Jessica is delighted to be introducing the next generation to the thrill of participating in musicals.
