Notes from the Director:
And now for something completely different.
It's not easy directing a show. There are a lot of moving parts, a lot of people, a lot of work-hours (a LOT of work-hours), and it's roughly akin to trying to herd a clowder of cats.
Add in that you are working with a musical based on a movie and tv show that is so well known that people have been quoting Monty Python for 50 years and you have a recipe for complete and total disaster.
Nudge, nudge. You know what I mean? Say no more!
But to work with the people involved with this show has been a pleasure, a wonder, and a miracle all in one. Everyone involved has transpired, conspired and made themselves overly tired all in a effort to bring about this marvelous musical we call SPAMALOT.
I cannot thank everyone enough.
So sit back, enjoy, and mouth along with the lines in the show (quietly - you never know when someone might correct you), and always look on the bright side of life.
