Mark Dressler
as Stage Manager
Mark is well known in Laguna Beach for his direction of the TMS & LBHS drama programs throughout his 25-year tenure. Mark brought an unusual passion to his work, quite apparent to his students, who were amazed at his energy and devotion as he directed and produced scores of excellent classical, contemporary, and musical theatre pieces. Upon his retirement in 2015, Mark was recognized by the City of Laguna Beach with the Art Stars Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating his commitment to the artistic pursuits of the city’s youth. He remains grateful to our community, which continues to support the program under the excellent leadership of Alexis Karol. He is very excited to perform on stage for the first time in nearly 40 years, surrounded by a cast of terrific LBHS students. Mark is especially thrilled to be directed by his dear former student, Celena DelPizzo-Howell, on the very same stage where he directed thousands of Laguna Beach young people!
