SchoolPower is the oldest non-profit education foundation in Orange County, having raised money for Laguna Beach public schools since 1981. Music and the Arts are often the first programs cut when budgets are reduced. As part of its emphasis on the whole child, LBUSD remains committed to maintaining programs in music and the arts from Kindergarten to Twelfth Grade.
The SchoolPower Endowment Fund & Teacher Grant Program aim to encourage excellence and innovation in teaching, fund innovative or additional programs in the LBUSD that might not otherwise be possible within current district budget priorities, expand upon current curriculum with innovative teaching strategies, and build on successfully executed grants from past years.

The Festival of the Arts Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 1989 whose goal is to provide funding that promotes art education and appreciation for all ages, in perpetuit.
In addition to their contributions to the performing arts, grants are awarded yearly to nonprofit organizations that have programs which promote fine arts in and about the city of Laguna Beach.
