There's a wonderful line in the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." This fall has been a whilwind, and I'm so grateful to these wonderful students for working hard to make sure this production happened. As Kinnelon High School's first live stage production since the pandemic, I'm proud of what this cast has achieved!
When I left the Kinnelon Director's Chair in 2017 as I pursued my Master's Degree, I wasn't sure if I would return. Several years and a pandemic later, it is a pleasure to return to live theatre on this stage. I thank the multiple directors that have kept Kinnelon's theatre program going for giving our students such an important service - for many, these are the defining moments of their school careers.
Finally, I thank our talented and enthusiastic crew! We may not yet know where everything is or how it all works, but it's comforting to know that we are working together to get everything ship-shape again. Thank you all for your hard-work and can-do attitude. Great things are ahead!
