Elf The Musical Jr. - December 01 - December 10, 2023

Key Largo School

 Acknowledgements

Notes from the Director:

I’m so very grateful to everyone who has helped me get back to the spot where I am allowed to do something I love so much -

From Mr. Pais believing in me when I wasn’t “show ready,”………

To my KLS family for welcoming and supporting me!....

To the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys and Keys Children’s Foundation who provided the funding last year which enabled me to create this program and continue it..

To Ms. Lietaert, Wood Campbell, and Coral Shores for allowing me access to this beautiful facility…

To Javi Exposito.....I can't express how much the full circle of our relationship means to me!  From being a third grader in one of my shows, to a high schooler doing stage crew, to an adult helping me build out my camper van, to being a dad and coming and volunteering to lights for my show.  I'm so grateful and proud to still have you in my life!

To Nola Aker and all of Light Up Key Largo for letting us perform and borrow your amazing Christmas creations designed by Forant Construction!

To The Key Players for having my back when I'm in a crunch!

To Bob "the Builder" for always making my crazy show ideas and schemes work....

To Kelly Shaw, Kristy Linares, and Kimy McLaren for breathing life into the show through song and dance…..

To these amazing people who came and helped me out when I was stressed and needed them Dana, Julia, and Dalton Murray, Madeline Riquelme, Nicole Blanche, Veronika Valdes, Melissa Cumbie, Amber McMahon, Priscilla Johnson, Caiti Currie, Kelly Matacena, Randee Blanco, and Bradley Petersen

To ALL the amazing parents I’ve met from both Key Largo School and Ocean Studies who have stepped up and filled in (too many to individually list here!)……

To everyone I may not have mentioned by name that has had a hand in helping me with this production.  Please forgive my crazy, sleep-deprived brain if I have left anyone out.  It is currently unable to remember every single person who has assisted me, but know that when I see you, my heart remembers. I appreciate every single one of you and your contributions!

To all of the audience members - your energy adds so much magic to the show and the cast and crew appreciate you being here and sharing this experience with us!

And finally and (most importantly) to the kids.  Little did they know when they started a show with me, they signed up for a life of always being one of  “my kids."  I know from being a theater kid myself that these are memories they will carry with them their whole life, and I am truly blessed to be a part of that.

Thank you, parents, for sharing your most precious treasure with me – your children.

Gracias, padres, por compartir su tesoro más preciado conmigo: sus hijos.

All my love, Ms. Z
