Taylor Hayes

as Tracy Turnblad

Taylor is a junior at Kennedale High School. She currently serves as the Fundraising Officer for Varsity Choir, and as the Co-Chair of The Sunshine Committee for Theatre. Recent roles include: Melpomene in the 2018 musical, "Xanadu," and Ensemble in "Little Shop of Horrors." After high school, Taylor plans to further her education at a major university.
Keegan Uranga

as Corny Collins

Keegan is a freshman at Kennedale High School. Recently, Keegan was seen in "A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play." Keegan has also appeared in Kennedale Junior High School's production of "High School Musical Jr." Keegan is also actively involved in the production of the Kennedale High School Yearbook.
Shannon Howerton

as Edna

Shannon is a recent graduate of Midwestern State University where he received his BFA in Theatre. During his holiday breaks, Shannon designed and constructed sets for KHS Musicals: "Happy Days," "Little Shop of Horrors," and "Xanadu." Previous roles include: Cladwell in "Urinetown," Frank in "God of Hell," Peter in "Smitten," and Chuck in "She Kills Monsters."

Layla is a sophomore at Kennedale High School. Previous roles include: Ensemble in "Xanadu," Mel in "Girl of My Dreams," (Kennedale Junior High School), and Ensemble in "The Kyne" (KJHS). After high school, Layla plans to go to California State University in Long Beach and major in Theatre Arts.
Alia Boubel

as Velma Von Tussle

Alia is a sophomore at Kennedale High School. "Hairspray" is her seventh show and her second musical at KHS. Previous roles include: Violet in "A Charlie Brown Christmas," Euterpe in "Xanadu," and Frances in the award-winning 2018 UIL One Act Play "These Shining Lives." After high school, Alia hopes to major in Theatre Arts and continue doing theatre in her community.
