Director’s Note
Hello there! Did you hear the wonderful news?
Today in the Kingdom of Never Nod a princess has been born, Princess Briar-Rose.
But what is this? A shadow has been cast on this wonderful day.
A bitter heart is raining on this day of celebration; quite literally.
Over the last several weeks we have had the opportunity as cast and crew to examine a shadow that is sometimes cast in our own lives, the shadow of un-forgiveness.
Not unlike Evilina, we have all experienced hurt, rejection or a misunderstanding.
We can’t, however, just wish forgiveness true, cast a spell and say, “Poof! You’re forgiven.” It is through those circumstances, with an understanding of forgiveness in Christ, that we can extend that same grace and forgiveness to others.
Please sit back and enjoy, join the celebration. And remember the next time the shadow of
un-forgiveness is looming, what seems hurtful could maybe just boil down to a misunderstanding or…
a lack of golden plates.
