Joel Barlow High School

 Crew Who's Who

  • Beth Bailey

    Assistant Producer

Beth Bailey (Assistant Producer) is excited and honored to be a part of Oklahoma! as Assistant Producer. This is her first time participating in this role and is so grateful to be working with such a fine cast of characters, on and off the stage.  Beth has been teaching Art at Joel Barlow for 25 years and can’t imagine a better place to build her career. Thank you to Matt Farina for being so gracious with your time and creative energy, Gwynne Wittmann and Chris Breault for their amazing musical genius, and to Erin Pinsky for the warm welcome and guidance in this role. Cast and crew: you are all amazing, thank you for your time and commitment!  All of you are what makes Barlow such a special place. One the homefront, a big thank you to JR. and Lily for all your love and support.

  • Gwynne Wittmann

    Musical Director

Gwynne Wittmann (Vocal Director) is serving as vocal director for her fifth Barlow show, having previously worked on Beauty and the Beast, Kiss Me Kate, Les Misérables, and Working. She is in her eighth year as choral director at Joel Barlow High School, after many years in the New Fairfield school system where she was also involved in the musical theatre program. Gwynne would like to thank the other members of the production team for all of their hard work, the students for their energy and enthusiasm, and her husband Eric and dog Niko for their love and support.

  • Chris Breault

    Pit Conductor

Christopher Breault (Pit Conductor) is once again taking up the baton for this production of Oklahoma! after previously conducting the pit orchestras for the Barlow productions of Beauty and the Beast, Kiss Me Kate, Once on This Island, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Music Man, Grease, and Oliver. In addition, he has produced or co-produced the Barlow theater productions Our Town, You Can’t Take it With You, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Crucible, Once Upon a Mattress, co-founded the ER9 Tri-District Music Concert, and he is in his 20th year teaching music at Joel Barlow High School where he directs the Concert Band, String Orchestra and Jazz Band. Thanks go to the students and adults who make this production possible and to Lauren for her love and patience at home.
