Jay Burnette

Technical Director/Stage Manager

Jay Burnette is a junior and is happy to be returning to JHS theatre this year as the stage manager for The Drowsy Chaperone! Last year she was the Assistant Stage Manager for both Pride and Prejudice and Oklahoma! In addition, she has run the light the board for A Night of Love and Broadway and many other choir and band performances. She also loves to bake.
Katie Gerretsen

Assistant Stage Manager

Katie Gerritsen is a sophomore who is in her second year as a part of JHS technical theatre. She has done deck crew for Pride and Prejudice and operated spotlight for Oklahoma! and A Night of Love and Broadway. For this show she is taking on the role of Assistant Stage Manager. In addition to her part in the theatre program, Katie is a member of the JHS Girls Soccer Team and pursues interests in theatre, art, and writing.
Kyler Gales

Tracks

Kyler is brand new to the theatre experience but has quickly picked up on the flow of the show as she has learned to run rehearsal and performance tracks. Outside of class, she is an active student athlete and is a member of the Jeff High basketball team.
Cory Baca

Lights

Cory Baca is proud to run the light board for The Drowsy Chaperone. Cory is a Sophomore at JHS and they look forward to working for the theatre program in future shows. They have done everything from Talent shows to Little Red Riding Hood and Into the Woods. This is in addition to previously being involved in activities such as show choir, theatre classes at JHS, and dance classes for most of their life.
