1. The Sailor Mouth
"One-Acts in my opinion is an opportunity to learn things and to have fun. "The Sailor Mouth" has been has been a simple and yet fun show directing. I appreciate my actors for the effort they have put into this show and I love to see new actors become something they thought they could never be. I hope everyone enjoys the show!" ~Gabriel Trejo

5. Mirror, Mirror
"When Tony and I got together to co-direct we both decided that we wanted to do a comedy or a dramedy. We agreed that we would both look for script on our own time and then compare and share. Tony suggested “Mirror Mirror” and I loved it, so began our proposals. Auditions were much different than I thought they would be. Rehearsals in class were slightly difficult because we only have one actor in class, due to some of the cast being in the Advanced class, and other cast members only participating extracurriculary. After school rehearsals were much more smooth; we got to work with the other actors and get their movement, facial expressions, and emotions. I definitely wish we could've worked with the full cast more often but the cast together or separate have turned this script into a real modern fairy tale and it funny and so captivating. I am so happy I got to work with all of these amazing people." ~Brenda Perez
"From the start of the year Brenda and I knew we wanted to direct together. The question was “what are we going to direct?” We both knew that acting 2 students would have to be involved with the production so we started brainstorming different genres that would fit our class. We finally made up our minds and decided to do a comedy with over dramatic characters, thus we found “Mirror, Mirror.” Then, weeks before auditions, all directors decided that we wanted to make One Acts opened auditions for the school to give others the opportunity to do a production. The audition and casting process was the hardest part because we, as all directors, had to sit down and really think about who we can give opportunities to and how people would fit into different roles with the material that was given from their audition and past experiences. The 5 actors that we cast are so talented and I am happy that my co-director and I had the chance to work with them as they put on a very entertaining show for the audience." ~Antonio Ramirez
