Abigail Brooks*
Assistant Director
Abigail Brooks, a junior, has been a member of Theatre on the James since her freshman year. This is Abigail’s first experience with assistant directing, and it’s something she’s looked forward to since the start of her theatre career. When she found out this year's musical was Chicago, she was even more eager. Abigail has previously acted with Troupe #5953 and has had some experience on crew as well. You may recognize her from past productions, and earlier this year, you may have seen her in The Play That Goes Wrong as Chris. She loved working with everybody in the cast and crew this year and hopes to continue on the same path next year.

Michael Thomas*
Assistant Director
Michael Thomas, senior, is assistant directing Chicago as his final send off to his four year stay with Troupe #5953. He is so thankful for the experiences, people, characters, and the ten different shows he’s gotten to know. Recently committed to VCU, he can’t wait to see what the future holds. He wants to send special thanks to the rest of the production team, his friends, and to all the local stray cats.

Marissa Eggleston
Stage Manager
Marissa Eggleston is signing off as part of Theatre on the James in her last production of her high school career. She has been the resident Props Design Head for the past two years, but has branched out as Stage Manager for her last show. She is greatly appreciative to TOTJ for the friends, family, and unique experiences. She has been a part of almost all productions since her freshman year, her favorites being Clue and The Play That Goes Wrong. A special thanks goes out to her Mom and Dad (and brothers) for supporting her through the years, and her most favoritest, best ever, great, and wonderfully amazing partner in life, and the master of silliness, Steven Hall.
