This production of Guys and Dolls Jr. is made possible in part by the wonderful parents who stepped in and took roles of leadership. I especially want to thank Dave McAninch and Sharona Sandberg for their vision as it relates to the set and beyond. Because of the talents and dedication of these two individuals, we are able to have such a wonderful set with which to work.
A wonderful and sincere level of gratitude also goes to Virigina Wood for taking the lead in costuming our actors. Viriginia, and her two seemingly innocent, unsuspecting ladies who were recruited to help, spent countless hours sewing the outfits as worn by the hot box girls and mission band members, making thrift store runs, making trips to Walgreens, tie-dying shirts for the crapshooters and a litiney of other things. These 3 ladies (Virginia Wood, Pamela Flentje and Lynne Bitzis) have gone above and beyond the call of duty where this is concerned and we are better for their commitment of service.
Thank you Stephanie Palmer and Lynne Bitzis for organizing what I'm sure will be a great cast party for the cast and the crew, allowing them to celebrate this wonderful accomplishment with flair!
Thanks to the parents (and students) who volunteered their time on a Sunday to help build and paint the set. Great job!
To the parents who are collecting money for us at the door, thank you.
To my colleague, Mrs. Clark, who is such a valuable asset to me, we as a cast are indebted to you for your tireless effort and commitment to success. Thank you for everything you have done to assist with this production. This would not be a success without you.
Daniell Faculty and Staff,
Thank you for your words of encouragement and buzz of excitement as expressed to me personally and to the students. Words of affirmation is a langauge most of us understand and your comments speak volumes.
Thank you!
A special "thank you" also goes to you, our fine patrons, for coming and supporting the arts. Without an audience to experience the wonder and magic of live theater, our living in this regard would be in vain.
