SYNOPSIS

At the height of the Great Depression, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow went from two small-town nobodies in West Texas to America's most renowned folk heroes and the Texas law enforcement's worst nightmares. Fearless, shameless, and alluring, their electrifying story of love, adventure and crime captured the excited attention of an entire country. Now, the most notorious couple of the twentieth century takes on a whole new adventure: the stage.

When BONNIE AND CLYDE meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and fame immediately set them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold and reckless behavior turns the young lovers' thrilling adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run from every southern state's police force, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the infamous duo's fame grows bigger, their inevitable end draws nearer.

FROM THE DIRECTOR

to my cast:

This musical has been a learning experience for so many of us. From the beginning, I told you that my job is to know what you can achieve and to convince you of it by the end of the show. I set the bar very high early on and you have risen to the occassion! As I said so often, I only push you further because I know you have more in you. If I didn't believe in you, I'd give up. You young people are so full of promise and have truly learned the meaning of hard work and dedication. I hope that you have learned that commitment, a positive attitude, and timeliness are skills that you must bring to all areas of your lives in order to be successful. I am so proud of the way you have grown as people in such a short time. You are truly remarkable! Don't forget it!

to my seniors:

Thank you for being so supportive of me in my first year at ICHS. I have never seen such a fantastic group of people adjust to change in such a seamless way. My only regret is that I only had one year with you. Each one of you is going to do wonderful things in the future. Come back and visit us!
