Technical Theatre: This hands-on course concentrates on the various technical aspects of theatre production including sets, props, lights, costumes, sound, and stage management. Students research, design, build, and produce technical elements for both theoretical and actual productions. Length/Credit: 1 year - 1.0 CTE or Art credit

Introduction to Theatre: Students will learn the fundamentals of theatre, voice, movement, and production design. Students will learn to read scripts for meaning, understanding, evaluation, and performance. All students with any (or no) level of experience are welcome! Length/Credit: 1 semester – 0.5 Art credit

Advanced Theatre: In addition to building on foundational acting and theatre skills, students will learn how to present themselves professionally in modern digital formats. Experience in middle school theatre, community theatre, or high school theatre courses is recommended. Length/Credit: 1 semester - 0.5 Art credit

Theatre Production: This is an advanced class for students who wish to perform in a school musical. During class, students rehearse and stage a formal production for evening performances. Auditions are generally a year in advance in the spring. Length/Credit: 1 semester – 0.5 Art credit

AUDITION FOR THE 2025 SPRING MUSICAL!

Auditions for the 2025 Spring Musical Mean Girls are on March 11th & 12th after school in the Theatre. All current students and rising 9th graders are welcome! There will be two sessions (please attend one): 3:30-5:30 pm & 6-8 pm. Come prepared to sing a one-minute excerpt from a song that best features your voice. We will also read short scenes. March 13th will be call-backs if needed.
