DIRECTOR'S NOTE
Directing Showtime Live 2024 has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives! From the moment we first decided to take on this project to our last tech rehearsal, we have been astounded by the hard work, artistry, and camaraderie of our community. Thank you so much to everyone who went above and beyond to make this show happen.
The emcees and actors are the soul of the show, and we hope their personalities charm you as much as they did us. They did an amazing job bringing the show together to make us laugh, and we are so lucky to have them.
The talent put their whole heart into performing and we cannot thank them enough for sharing their passions with us. They dazzle us with their musical abilities, dancing, poetry, and comedy every night.
The tech crew dedicated hours of work to making sure the lights, sound, props, set, and audience experience would run smoothly. We would truly not have a show without them and their endless dedication.
Special thanks to Ms. Lathrop for her lovely poem "On Writing to myself: The Righting Process" and Joel Coldiron as well for his wonderful single, "I Can't Help Falling in Love."
Most of all, a huge thank you to Mr. Glover for producing this show and always believing in us from the very beginning.
