Robert Reid Goodson

Director and Choreographer

Robert Reid is very happy to be working as the Managing Director of the Imperial Centre Theatre. He holds a M.A. in Educational Theatre from NYU, a M.A. in Nonprofit Management from HPU and has over two decades of theatrical experiences in community theatre. He looks forward to working with the community of Rocky Mount on future projects.
Zach Bolon

Music Director

Zachary Bolon hails from West Virginia, where he served as director, actor, and music director for a number of theatrical companies. He holds a BA in Music from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Prior to moving to the NC, he founded the Academy of Creative Arts, an after-school theatre program for actors of all ages. While there, he directed shows such as Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Disney’s Frozen, and many others. He also served as the Director of Performing Arts and Education where he taught private voice, piano, and music composition to students of all ages and levels. He currently teaches music and performing arts at Martin Millennium Academy in Tarboro, NC and serves as Music Director for The Mills Church. After a pandemic-induced hiatus, he is ecstatic to be a part of the artistic community once again!
Will Stacy

Technical Director

Will Stacey is the proud son of an immigrant and very thankful for the Rocky Mount Community. He started at the Imperial Centre in 2019 and has a General Studies degree concentrated in Theatre with minors in English, History, and Business and a Masters in Fine Arts in Theatrical Design from WIU. He looks forward to a renewed season of productions!
Katherine Bortner

Costume Designer

Kate can usually be found teaching Theatre Arts at Northern Nash High School where she has been on faculty for 15 years. Before coming to Rocky Mount, Kate received degrees in Theatre and Psychology from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Education and English from the University of Louisville and a M.A. in Theatre from the University of Akron. She has spent equal time as actor, director, and choreographer in her career, but is also extremely proud of designing/building costumes right here at the Imperial Theatre.
