Joy Gregory
Direction, Music Direction & Choreography
Joy is thrilled to direct her first production with Ignite Theatre Company. In addition to working part time as Ignite’s music director, she is a full-time for BJC Behavioral Health. Joy began her professional musical theatre journey in Wilmington, NC, in 2009. She has performed on numerous stages throughout the Southeast and has received several Wilmington Theater Awards for her personal performances as well as for her theatre company's productions (True 2 You Productions). Joy has directed/produced several productions, most beloved Ain’t Misbehavin’, The Color Purple, and Smokey Joe’s Café. Although Joy has a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology and is a Certified Life Coach, her passions have always been service, ministry, and the performing arts. Joy wishes to thank Ignite for the opportunity to direct such a meaningful show, her incredible son for agreeing to share this journey and create wonderful memories, and her family for their continued support and love.

J. Keller Ryan
Technical Director & Sound Design
Keller earned his bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Since moving to the St. Louis area, he has worked with various theatre companies/groups in the area, including the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis as an electrician and at Harris-Stowe University as the lighting and sound designer for their production of The Bluest Eye. He has also worked as a scenic designer for R-S Theatrics’ production of Animals Out of Paper. His newest title, though, is husband, as he recently married past Ignite prop master and longtime love Kristine St. Gemme in March of 2020.
