Kimberly Kavanagh
Director
Kimberly’s desire to connect arts and community led her to Ignite. With a background balanced between non-profits, the hospitality industry, and teaching, Kimberly is no stranger to supporting her community through arts opportunities home and abroad! Her passion for igniting the arts in young performers who truly need positive creative outlets brought her to Haiti, Colombia, California, Hawaii, and Chicago before settling in St. Louis. Kimberly is dedicated to professional development and proud to be currently seeking her Mind-Body Wellness and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Certification. When Kimberly is not bridging communities, she’s attending young professional networking events, trying to pet all the dogs, and enjoying city life with her own favorite co-star, her dog, Thin Mint.
Cat Draney
Assistant Director
Cat has done many productions with Ignite both on and offstage. Aside from acting, she has stage-managed, assistant directed, and has been a makeup artist for previous shows. Cat is a sophomore at Webster Groves High School. Last autumn, she applied her Ignite stage management experience to the school’s production of Chicago and has since been involved with their drama departments other projects. She is active in choir, drama club, FEMCO, creative writing, and reading. Cat wanted to keep doing what she loved, even in quarantine, so she really appreciated the pains Ignite went to in keeping them all safe and healthy while still managing to create a great show and an experience she’ll never forget. Cat wants to thank the directors and staff. She is grateful for the support from her family and friends. Enjoy the show!
