Tuck Everlasting is one of my favorite musicals to ever direct because of the beautiful message it teaches us about living our life to the fullest and never taking anything for granted. We are so blessed to have every day to live in relationship with one another, and sometimes we need a reminder to live, maybe not forever, but each day as the gift the Lord has given us.
This cast and crew, as well as every person on the design team, has worked so hard to put a beautiful piece of art on the stage to tell us this story. I’m so blessed to be a part of this group and consider it an amazing privilege to direct this cast. They have stolen a piece of my heart this semester and I hope I get to have many more shows with all of them sometime down the path. They have loved me well and brought so much laughter to my life. I hope I have done the same for them.
There are two ways home, down one long road; I pray you take the path the Lord has laid before you and find peace and joy in the journey.
