Hull Theatre Arts

  Senior Bios

Tyler Eckland "I have participated in theater off and on since I was six years old, but it wasn't until 2019 that I decided to join Hull High's program. I had been homeschooled my entire education, so when Hull homeschoolers became allowed to participate in school extracurriculars, I was excited and grateful. For my first two shows, Elf and The Laramie Project, I decided to try something new and join stage crew instead of acting. It was an invaluable experience, because I was able to enjoy one of my favorite hobbies, building with wood, while hanging out with awesome theater kids. For my senior year, I chose to return to acting in The Christmas Carol and Schoolhouse Rock, and once again, I loved every minute. I only regret that I did not join this wonderful group of people sooner. Next year, I will be attending Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, and am super excited for the next chapter in my life. Outside of schoolwork and the stage, you can probably find me building the latest addition to my backyard Ninja Warrior course, or annoying my friends with cheesy jokes. I thank everyone that made my Hull High Theater Arts experience a phenomenal one."
