Jason Anderson
Producing Artistic Director/Light Design/Orchestra Conductor
Jason Anderson, a native Maineiac, currently serves the students of RSU #29 (Houlton) as a vocal music educator; his teaching load includes MS and HS choruses, HS piano, HS history of Rock/Pop music, and MS topics in music courses. Seussical is his 14th production with students in RSU #29. He studied vocal music education and choral conducting at the University of Maine (‘03, ‘05G), music education at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, and curriculum, instruction, and educational leadership at Southern New Hampshire University (‘16G). 2017-2018 is his 13th-year professional career as a musician and educator. When he’s not coaching students on the stage or performing in his community, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer, two stepkids Rhetta and Isaac, and his 4-year-old Black Lab Simon.

Kevin Mania
Assistant Director/Set Design/Construction/Orchestra (Drumset)
A native of Rhode Island, Kevin is a 2002 graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. As a percussionist, Kevin has experienced a wide variety of playing styles and opportunities over his professional career, both domestically and worldwide. He currently teaches grades 7-12 instrumental music and music electives in RSU #29. Prior to moving to Houlton, Kevin taught music in Blue Hill (ME), and Woodland (ME). He lives in Houlton with his wife Katie and daughters Enza and Evelyn.

Jamie Sewell
Associate Director
Jamie Sewell was born and raised here in Houlton Maine. She currently is employed by RSU 29 at Houlton Elementary School. Jamie has been involved in the arts since she was a small child. She started in the Suzuki Music program at age 5 under the direction of Harry Roper, where she learned the violin and cello. She has participated in New England Youth Orchestra, Houlton School of Dance, and Houlton’s Children’s Theater, and TAM Arts Conservatory. She found her love for music and theater on the stage at Houlton High School, where she participated in the Musicals, Show Choir, Jazz Choir, and Chamber Choir. Jamie attended Eastern Nazarene College where she focused on Accapella Choir. She returned to Houlton and choreographed for the Jr. high and High School Show Choirs and the musicals for several years. She is excited to be back helping students further their arts in the community she loves.
