Sarah Aanderud Wahlen
Director
Director of Theatre & Film at Holy Names Academy, Ms Wahlen has long been involved with theatre & production in various arenas. She has served as an Executive Producer for the Miss America Organization for over ten years. In addition, she previously worked at KIRO TV in Seattle and is an Emmy-nominated journalist who continues to freelance in the area. Ms Wahlen teaches Theology, Film Studies and Broadcast Media at HNA and is currently completing a Masters in Divinity at Seattle University.

Julia Sarewitz
Music Director
Julia Sarewitz has served as Music Director under the Dome since 2013. Ms. Sarewitz worked previously as a choir director at Northwest Girlchoir & Saint James Cathedral, as well as taught general music classes to students of all ages for many years. She teaches three choirs & AP Music Theory at HNA, & also sings, composes, & plays synth for various Seattle-area bands. Ms. Sarewitz did her undergraduate & graduate work in Music Education with emphases in Choral & General Music at the University of Oregon & is a certified Kodàly instructor. Ms. Sarewitz is thrilled to be a part of the Into the Woods team!

Emma Hokoda*
Assistant Director
Emma, a senior, is thrilled to be on the creative team for her 8th show at HNA. Emma directed her own original play Expedited Shipping for last year's New Works Festival and is currently assistant directing How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying for the 5th Avenue Theater’s Rising Star Project. She also appeared as Terry Randell in Stage Door. Thanks especially to her mentor Ms Wahlen!

Jackie Kotkins
Choreographer
Jackie graduated from the Professional Actors Training Program at UW with undergrad and MFA degrees. Co-founder of UW Dance Theater, now the Meany Dance Series; she led a kid’s theater group, and taught to children and adults. Passionate about musicals, she recently choreographed Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and Rent. Jackie is thrilled to work with the talented cast of Into the Woods.
