What a weekend we have had!! In 15 years, we have had the largest crowds ever and are on the brink of setting record attendance! Thank you for supporting our program. Tracy and I and many others have worked hard over the years and our very proud of the students involved and grateful to the adults who step up in so many ways. We also thank some very special students from Highland High School who supplied us with a beautiful STRING section! They do this just because they love playing and we can't imagine not hearing this beautiful sound coming from our orchestra pit! It makes us even more excited about the string program currently being started in our district.
On a personal note, I would like to thank the team of adults who have supported me the past several weeks during the sickness and passing of my mother-in-law on November 7. Kathleen, Nancy, Priscilla, Harry, Jeff, Mike, Chris and of course my co-director Tracy---it is an honor and a privledge to work with each of you. Thanks so much for your dedication to this show and program and for stepping up even more than usual the last few weeks when I wasn't able to give this show my complete focus. You are all amazing individuals and I am very grateful to call you all dear friends.
