This has been quite an adventure starting off our school year with a massive switch. After 14 years of having a "spring" musical, we now have a "fall musical." We think that the change will make our end of the year a little less chaotic. At least we sure hope so!
What a fun show this is! The music, characters and plot are very engaging for audiences of all ages. I promise you will soon be tapping your toes and singing along with us. I want to give a heartfelt thanks to my production team. For this production we had one additional "surprise." At the beginning of the school year my husband and I found out we are expecting our first child at the end of April. It has been an 8 year journey with an ending that was not supposed to happen in this way! We feel very blessed. Thanks so much to the many who have stepped up to take a lot of the stress off of me. Your kindness, well wishes, and constant "watching out and yelling at me" when I lift something or attempt to do some physical activity I shouldn't is very much appreciated. The excitement and genuine joy that so many have shown, from co-workers to parents to students, has really warmed my heart. We are currently at 18 weeks and feeling tired, but wonderful.
Thanks to Tracy, Kevin, Stephanie, Kathleen, Priscilla, Chris Conner, Luke, David and Samantha Bodnar who have put their wonderful touches on this show. I truly couldn't have done this without you and it wouldn't be nearly as fun! Priscilla, you have truly been a "God-send" to us and we hope you want to stay on our team for years to come! Having a dedicated vocal director-complete with professional experience has really proved invaluable for the students. We have never sounded better. Thanks to the students involved who have worked so long and hard. A special thanks to our "waiters." You guys have stepped out of your comfort zone and added an exclamation point to our production! A special shout out to Collin May who convinced our athletes that this would be a great experience. Another big thanks to Louie's Tux shop for donating the tuxedo's seen in this show. I also want to thank my family for making the 5 hour trips up the past 15 years to support my productions. Finally a special thanks to my husband Chris for his love and support. I am looking forward to the next journey we are about to take on!
God Bless--and Enjoy the show!

Hello Dolly has been one of my favorite shows for many years. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to work on it this year. It has been a bit overwhelming, though. There are lots of characters to move around this stage! I do want to thank all of the cast for flexibility as I changed my mind even more times than I usually do in the course of staging a show. I particulary would like to thank Jessica Sherrard and Mallory Lind for their enormous help as my dance captains. You ladies are awesome!
I also want to thank Cathy, once again, for allowing me to part of this program. Priscilla, Kathleen, Becky, Stephanie, Kevin, David, and Chris-thank you for being so enjoyable. I feel quite fortunate to work with such knowedgable and cooperative people!
Of course, I must also thank my amazingly supportive family! I could not do this without the help of my husband and parents. I also have to thank my children for their patience and being part of the cast. It has been great working with you!
Keep dancing!
