    Ryan Abbott (Sweeney Todd) was cast as Leroy Herdman in “The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever” as a chilf, and he has had a love of the stage and musical theater ever since. In 2022, his family joined the theatrical house of Hardee County Players in Wauchula. Ryan was cast in several productions there, including: The Enchanted Bookshop - The Musical (cast & music director), Sleepy Hollow, The Christmas Extravaganza, and most recently as Fred Scrooge in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Sweeney Todd is his biggest role to date, and this experience with the cast & crew at HLT has been an absolute dream to be a part of.

    Margaret Macbeth (Mrs. Lovett) has been involved with Highlands Lakeside Theatre since 2016. She has performed many roles over the years, including Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Winifred Banks in Mary Poppins, Sibella in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, and Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs. She has also formerly served as the secretary on the Board of Directors and currently serves as the social committee chairperson. She wants to extend a special thanks to her husband, Andrew, her mother, and her children for their love, patience, understanding, and support during the rehearsal and run of this show. Margaret is excited to bring Mrs. Lovett to life, and hopes you enjoy the show!

    Julien Jimenez (Anthony Hope), Julien Jimenez is honored to be a part of HLT’s production of Sweeney Todd. Julien is eighteen years old and has been a part of several shows including Brighton Beach Memoirs, High School Musical, and Freaky Friday. In this production, Julien is thrilled to be a part of the talented cast and crew and hopes to shine as brightly as they do. He hopes to make a lasting impression with this show before going to Stetson University, where he plans to major in vocal performance and pursue his passion for the arts.
