as “Nonna” Francesca Signorelli
Marcia Ward (”Nonna” Francesca Signorelli) has been a member of HLT for 35 years. She has appeared in numerous roles, with a penchant for characters of ill repute, her favorites being the Wicked Witch of the West and more recently Mrs. Peacock from Clue. She has worked behind the scenes with costuming since her first show. She is a founding member of the HLT Foundation, Inc., serving as treasurer since it’s inception and an ardent supporter of the summer Theater Workshop.

Laura Wade
as Olivia “Liv” Esposito
Laura Wade (Olivia “Liv” Signorelli) is a native Floridian and Dramatists Guild member. She holds a BFA in Performing Arts from the University of Louisiana, attended the MFA Acting Pedagogy program at the University of Alabama, and will soon graduate with an M.Ed. in Theatre Pedagogy from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. With over 150 theatre credits, Laura is passionate about teaching, directing, and playwriting. Notable directing credits include Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, and Steel Magnolias. As a Summer Theatre Institute director at Highlands Lakeside Theatre for 20 years, she has helmed over 30 youth productions. Her plays Head of the Family and Happy Sad represented Florida at SETC in 2023 and 2024, and Happy Hour at 333 Pink Place debuts in 2025. Laura’s notable roles include Belle (Beauty and the Beast) and Patsy Cline (Always, Patsy Cline). She is a proud mother to Elise and Harley and wife to Eric.

Mariah Alvarez
as Sophia Esposito Sacco
Mariah Alvarez (Sophia Espositi Sacco) is so excited to be back performing at Highlands Lakeside after living in Orlando for the past couple of years. You may have seen Mariah previously in Freaky Friday as Torrey, Noises Off as Dotty/Ms. Clackett, and Young Frankenstein as Elizabeth. This experience has been extra special for her since it is the first time she gets to share the stage with her sister, Samantha. Enjoy the show!
