as Ellie
Katie is 18 years old and recently graduated from Lake Placid High School. She is so excited to be a part of this cast and share her love of performing with you all. Freaky Friday is the seventh main stage show at HLT she has had the privilege of being a part of. The Sound of Music, Matilda, Shrek, Ghost, Jesus Christ Superstar, and A Higher Place In Heaven being the previous shows Katie has had the opportunity to act in during her time here. Katie would like to thank her mom and dad for their endless support in all of her pursuits over the years.

Nelly Ford
as Katherine
Nelly Ford joined HLT in 1991 as a volunteer and has served as Play Selection Chair, Music Director, and Director. Nelly has performed in several amateur and professional productions - primarily as a classical vocalist and actor in musical theatre productions. Nelly enjoys singing, traveling, spending time with family, and cheering for The Florida State Seminoles where she’s earned two graduate degrees and was active in the music, public relations, and campus ministry programs. Nelly is returning to the HLT stage after nine years and is delighted that her children and husband are also a part of the show.

as Mike
"Freaky Friday is Marcus's 18th main stage show at HLT. Most recently, he appeared as Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Dr. Rex in Little Girl Blou, Wadsworth in Clue, The D’Ysquith Family in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and Gomez Addams in The Addams Family. Some favorite past roles include Harold Hill in The Music Man, Corny Collins in Hairspray and Marius in Les Miserables. He is so excited to be in this amazing original work and to work with this awesome group! We got this!”
