Sophia Sacco
as Shrek
Sophia is very excited to be a part of Shrek this year. She is an active student and has participated in numerous sports, clubs, and teams at Henry including one act plays. This is her first full production and she is elated that it is at Henry Street. As she finishes up her grade 11 year, she couldn’t be more happy to be taking part in this wonderful and hilarious musical. She thanks everyone who has come to spend their night in the swamp!

Ani Teengs
as Fiona
Ani comes from a long line of strong women. From her childhood, she has always had a fascination with storytelling and singing as frequently as possible. She has starred in a variety of shows outside of Henry Street, but this is her first show at the school. Ani is incredibly excited to act among her favourite people in this production!

Stella Bourque
as Donkey
Stella has participated in many of Henry Street's past productions, including 10 Reasons You Should Have Stayed Home Sick Today, and Once Upon A Mime (Director and actress). Stella thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this production, and has had a great time bringing the character of Donkey to life. She would like to thank the amazing tech crew, director, stage crew, welcoming cast and backstage heroes, as well as her parents' unbridled support in having their daughter play an ass onstage. She hopes that everyone watching enjoys the child-like hilarity of the production, and that it encourages them to stick to watching the professionals. Stella has no plan of being on Broadway, as you will soon see, but nonetheless she hopes that everyone watching enjoys.
