Mr. David McKay
Director
Dave McKay has been teaching at Henry since 2004, and he has participated in numerous productions, both as director and helper, over that time. He is particularly proud of the strong artistic community at this school. He feels that this production of Shrek: The Musical is an excellent representation of what can be achieved when a talented group of young people with diverse skill sets join to create a performance. Mr. McKay is honoured to have had the opportunity to lead such a fine group.

Ms. Gillian Maxwell
Musical Coordinator
“What makes us special, makes us strong.” Coaching the talented students in the songs of the production has been a delight and Ms. Maxwell has been inspired by the students. Ms. Maxwell has been involved in Henry productions for many years – perhaps too many to count. Highlights include Once Upon a Mattress, L.I.E., The Wizard of Oz, Into the Woods and many more. This business of show is only achievable with the insane dedication of all involved. This is no small feat. Ms. Maxwell is forever grateful for the talents and dedication of Mr. McKay, Mr. McKinnon, Ms. Wilson, Ms. Morris, Ms. McRae, Mr. Flynn, the Administration, Support Staff and Custodial Staff. She is proud of the hard work, dedication and success of the cast and crew. She is also greatly indebted to the support of the Whitby Performing Arts Community Development Fund. With their support, our students are able to show the world how special and strong they truly are.
