From the Drama Club Advisor:
The idea behind this play - "Lend Me a Tenor" is how an amateur (Max) who has a love of the art form can succeed without all the training that a professional (Tito) has. This is the makings of a farce - a comedy that includes buffoonery and ludicrously improbable situations. We all know that professionals spend years of their lives perfecting their art. What Max and Saunders conspire to do is ludicrous and the fact that it works makes this Tony Award winning farce that much more fun to produce.
We hope you have as much fun watching the Hempstead High School Drama Club's production of "Lend Me a Tenor" as we had putting it together.
