 Acknowledgements

Ms. Danielle Russo, for being so supportive, so giving, and so wonderful to work with. You’ve made this return back to the stage seamless and positive for both our cast and us!

Mr. Kevin Pfister, Mr. Art Mazzacca, and Ms. Cheryl Pasquale, for doing the never-ending job of keeping this place running.  Your continued support is forever encouraging, and we cannot thank your support of the arts enough!

Mr. Richard Spirito and the Board of Education, for making sure Hawthorne students have opportunities like this to grow, develop, and show off their many talents.

HHS Athletic Department, for being so flexible to allow students to embrace their interest in the arts while still remaining strong atheletes on the field.  Thank you so much for working with students to allow them to participate in both areas!

HHS Custodial and Maintenance Staff, for keeping this almost 90-year-old building up and running.  Special thanks to the custodian night crew for being amazing coworkers who are always ready to help with a smile!

And to YOU –  the family, friends, community members, and HHS staff supporting our amazing students by attending productions.  We cannot thank your generous support enough.  100% of ticket profits go to funding the following year’s productions, and we are eternally grateful for you!

"It’s been a night of darkness. Everything’s changed. And the new, extended family understands: The unknown may be frightening, the darkness overwhelming, but if we don’t run from it, we may see our mysterious, miraculous lives finally illuminated. If we move toward the darkness, we might find love and acceptance. For when it is dark enough, we can see the stars."

- Rick Elise on The Addams Family Musical

The Addams Family first premiered on television in 1964 capturing the world with its perplexingly macabre and incredibly humorous take on life through watching the Addams Family interact with each other and with "normal" people.  It has since been adapted into blockbuster movies, a musical, and most recently with focusing on the daughter Wednesday, a major hit television series on Netflix.

Our cast and crew has worked tirelessly over the past 2 and half months to bring the Addams Family to life and push themselves to develop stronger as performers on stage.  We are so thankful for them and for our small, yet fierce, crew for all they have done to put the show together from building set pieces, painting, sewing, so much hair and makeup, and all of the technical aspects that go into a successful production.

Enjoy our spring 2023 production of The Addams Family, and we cannot wait to announce the 2023 - 2024 performances with you!

- Ronnie, Mr. T, and Ms. Graber
