In Memoriam: Honoring the Lives Lost
We, the cast and crew of "FLUSH," wish to acknowledge the tragic events of June 12, 2016, when the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, became the site of a devastating hate crime. We remember and honor the humanity of the 49 beautiful souls whose lives were tragically cut short that night.
"FLUSH" is a reflection of our commitment to celebrate the lives of the queer community, honor their resilience, and remember those who are no longer with us. Through this play, we hope to pay homage to the vibrant spirits, the dreams, and the love that the victims brought into this world.
May this production serve as a testament to the enduring strength of the LGBTQ+ community and a reminder of the importance of love, acceptance, and unity. We will never forget, and we stand in solidarity with the victims, their families, and all those affected by this heart-wrenching tragedy.
