 Director/Choreographer Page

Alice is 12 years old and is director of this year's play. She has been in theater most of her life, and has chosen to purseue a career in theatre. Performing Arts has brought joy to her, she realized her true love and passion for performing arts from her mother, who has always loved singing. With the support of her father, Alice is currently scouting various performing arts-based schools. Alice is heavily involved in various activities, including swim, basketball, soccer, CCD, youth group, tutoring, and HMS Riverkeepers.

Alice has been in multiple shows and performances, including

Magic School Bus (Ms. Fizzle), Hairspray (IQ),  You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Woodstock), Seussical the Musical(Wickersham Brother in a theater camp production), School House Rock Live Jr (Girl/constitution/ensemble), and High School Musical (Kelsi).. Alice geeks out with her backstage manager friend Sienna over Broadway musicals, they both share a love for Broadway. Alice has also seen multiple Broadway shows and is in hopes of being on that stage performing for thousands one day. Alice is also close friends with the choreographer, Olivia. Alice prides herself in being the biggest theatre nerd. She quotes broadway lyrics and dialogue in day-to-day life. She reads/watches anything that has to do with a Broadway show. Music, singing, acting, performing, and dancing brings Alice joy and happiness.

Alice enjoys with great joy directing the show this year, she finds it amazing how such great performers can make her vision come alive and make it even better without the actors/actresses even realizing it. Directing to her isn't just watching her vision get put together it's about the passion and love and work that's put in to see her show be seen by others, which makes her proud of herself, the actors/actresses, and backstage crew. Backstage crew is also the major part in putting her vision to life, they work just as hard as anyone. Both acting and backstage give a major role in this show. Drama club is a great space to create a family that also shares the love and passion that you have, not just the actors to do the backstage crew. Alice says Drama club is so much fun, you can have fun and enjoy yourself. This place is great to create friends and perform and create sets. Alice also has a great relationship with Mrs.Jones. She has a kind, warm heart and will love you all the way. She has even helped Alice out in her career options. Mrs. Jones is also strict, but will have fun with you while informing you.

Drama Club in Alice's eyes is great for anyone, you just have to commit to it. Drama club has given Alice something to look forward to every year!
