as Director

Karen Vicks has established herself as one of Philadelphia's finest actors. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Aftra, and Actors Equity. Karen was the Artistic Director of the Philadelphia Acting Studio and is now the Executive Director of Ascension Galleries. She has just become the Talent coordinator and coach of Twelfth House Productions, an Oscar winning production company where she will work on Ringside Network. Ringside Network is a 24/7 boxing network and she will also be working on the Biopic of McFadden and Whitehead. She is currently the Artistic Director of Youth in Arts theater and has just recently performed in Comedy Central's "Broad City" and HBO’s "Veep" for television.I would like to thank my Cast, Milky, Anthony Molock, and Kameelah for allowing me to tell the story. I would also like to thank my stage managers, Angelena and Stephen and last but not least my family for their love and support....Gypsy Joe is a story that has to be told.

Mark Johnson

At one point acting was a small part of Mark’s life when in middle school he partook in a latin TV show, but his love of track and basketball was too overwhelming to compete. After graduating high school Mark’s father’s success in his video business landed him back in front of the camera as he helped at many events of the family business. Mark then started seeing his potential and began taking acting classes. After the first year, he was bit by the acting bug and was later involved in some student films and short films and his talents was on the rise from there. Mark Johnson has had the pleasure of working with Clifton Powell, Jeremiah Trotter, And John Diehl in the movie The North Star. He also landed supporting roles in his last two Productions which he teamed back up with Clifton Powell in “Chase Street”.
