Is the left column being normalized? Are the words solely occurances to few?
What about the right column? Are those words simply aspirations?
Why produce HEATHERS:The Musical - High School Edition?
In consideration, this is what some high school students go through.
Listen to students. Their wants. Their needs.
The issues they wanted to address and express onstage.
Some of which they very much live.
Yes, some issues. Maybe not all. But for teenagers in America in the 21st century, the accessibility for them to bear witness of what others like them, experience, is instant and impactful.
This story provokes dialogue among students and personifies facets of their reality.
This is why we are sharing this story.
