Dakota Hudson - Jason W. / Ensemble
Dakota has been involved with Green River High School (GRHS) theatre since his freshman year. He starred as Death is Cheating Death (Winter 2020) at Wyoming State Thespian Festival in the One Act division. The following winter, he returned to compete in the One Act division with the piece Lockdown as Mark. From all the memories he has made, that trip has been the most memorable as he learned how to make the best grilled cheese sandwich and when the team got stuck for 14 hours. In the Spring of 2022, Dakota played the Chef in Cafe Murder, an annual theatre dinner fundraiser. His latest production was The Lighting Thief : The Percy Jackson Musical (Spring 2023) where he played the comedic satry, Grover. Dakota is thankful for the opportunity to be in Mean Girls : High School Version, as he has recently finished the struggle of balancing theatre and football. Dakota has been ‘double casted’ as a lineman on GRHS football team. He has been a part of football for years, which he has played on varsity for the last two. Dakota is currently exploring his options before graduation, but “If I have the opportunity to continue working in theatre, I’d take it in a heartbeat.”
Traijyn Jakubowski - Kevin G
Traijyn Jakubowski has recently joined the Green River High School (GRHS) theatre department. “It has been an extremely welcoming experience. I have been surrounded by kind and supportive people.” Mean Girls is Traijyn’s first production and is honored to be a part of it, even if his character is punchable. During his junior year, he assisted with The Lighting Thief : The Percy Jackson Musical (Spring 2023) as part of the tech crew. Asides from theatre, he is also involved with GRHS marching band. Traijyn has been with the band for two years playing the mellophone now as a section leader. While theatre and marching band have been established as activities for years, Jakubowski took it in his own hands to establish a club of his own to share with fellow students. With his passion to make it a reality, he is the proud former and president of the Dungeons and Dragons (DND) club. He invites any students who would like to join. After graduation, Traijyn’s intentions are to attend college to start his career in Neurology or Biomechanical Engineering.
Madison Jones - Karen Smith
I have been a part of the theatre program all four years of High School, but Mean Girls is the first production I have been a part of. Some other activities I do at the high school are student council, and NHS where I am the secretary. After high school I plan on attending the University of Wyoming. While attending I plan to go into something medical.
