Jaie Shelton-Smith
Costume Designer
Jaie Smith has been involved in dance and theatre since she was five years old. She currently teaches special ed for the Santee School District and is thrilled to be a part of the theater at Granite Hills High School again. She has previously performed on this very same stage back in high school performing with GHAW Summer Stock Theatre. Jaie enjoys costuming these shows now and working with such a wonderful group of young adults and the most amazing director!

Lauren Hawley
Student Director
Lauren is honored to support her final show as a student director. Lauren's first role at Granite was in the ensemble of Taming of the Shrew in her freshman year. She was hooked. Since then, she's participated in nearly every production and been active in Eagle Theatre. Those experiences, coupled with the guidance and mentorship of her peers and directors has prepared her for this ultimate role.

Veenwar Almezory
Student Director
Veenwar began this program his freshman year of high school, and since then has grown not only as an actor, but as a leader and a director. With the help of mentors and colleagues, Veenwar has single-handedly directed scenes, one-acts, and musical numbers within and outside of this program. With the title of “Student Director” comes great responsibility, and Veenwar was excited to be able to showcase his directing abilities to his family, friends, and peers when he was first asked to take on this position. Veenwar hopes to not only study acting, but also directing in the near future.

Aushee Heagney
Stage Manager
Aushee is a freshman at Granite and this is her second production. Aushee spent her middle school years in theatre also in various productions including Mulan, Hairspray, Annie and Alice in Wonderland. In her spare time, Aushee volunteers at the El Cajon public library assisting librarians with displays and shelving. She also enjoys paddle boarding and attending professional theatre.
