Janessa Nadeau
Director, Musical Director
Janessa currently holds the title of director of choirs and theatre at Granite Hills high school. She began working for Granite Hills in 2012, and loves being an Eagle. She began her teaching career in 2003 in Arizona and has worked at the high school, elementary school, and University level. She received her bachelor’s in music education from Arizona State University. Her masters in performance and pedagogy from Oklahoma State University. Janessa has completed postgraduate studies at both University of Washington and San Diego State University. She has been performing since the age of seven years old, and can’t imagine a day without music in her life. It would be impossible to do as much as she does at Granite without the support of her amazing husband and daughter. Plus the hundreds of kids that she considers her children! I love you all!

Sydney Conway
Choreographer
Sydney Rei Conway started dancing at the young age of 3 and has over 20 years of being a performer and choreographer. She received her Bachelors in Dance Theatre at the world renowned AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts where she trained with industry professionals. Sydney is currently on faculty at Jibe Studios and is beyond thrilled to be choreographing at Granite Hills with such a talented group of performers. She would like to thank her amazing family, boyfriend and friends for their continuous love and support and Janessa for always believing in her crazy ideas.

Tyler Nicole Owens
Assistant Director
Tyler is a Granite Hills Alum and did theatre here for their entire high school career. Tyler is particularly of their role as Miss Paddy in Curious Savage in 2010, and their role in the original musical, Underground. Tyler is so excited to be making new memories in the theatre that has been such a big part of their life.
