  • Jenny Bishop

    Director

    Mrs. Jenny Bishop has been teaching for 15 years and is currently in her 7th year at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy where she teaches Acting and Costuming. Additionally, she has directed numerous plays and musicals, most recently A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Junior/Senior Acting Class. She directed Bullets Over Broadway at GPFAA which took home the award for Best Musical at both the DSM Awards and Schmidt and Jones awards. She is proud of the success her students achieve and is blessed to be a part of their journey. This has been a wonderful experience and is so grateful to have been the guide for these young actors. She would like to thank her husband and son for taking care of her on all the very late nights and making sure she has food and rest. Enjoy the show!

  • Brooke Potts

    Musical Director/Producer

    Brooke Potts was homeschooled in Prosper, Texas and graduated from University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (emphasis in education) in 2015. Throughout all of her schooling, she participated in both professional and community theatre. Post college, she completed the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World. She began teaching at GPFAA in 2017. Mrs. Potts married Cameron Potts in 2016 and since then they have adopted a cat named Catlyn and a dog named Finn. Cameron also has a passion for theatre and teaches at Lewisville High School. She teaches Musical Theatre, Art & Media Communication, and Directing.

  • Joseph Borunda

    Technical Director

    Joe Borunda is an Arizona native who has been teaching theatre for twenty years and has produced over 95 shows during that time. He is currently the Technical Theatre Instructor at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy. One of his greatest accomplishments is creating the first-ever (and reoccurring) technical theatre and culinary arts workshops with Disneyland.
