To all cast and crew members,
I cannot believe our season together is almost over! I remember seeing over 100 students at auditions and thinking "uh, oh. How are we going to narrow it down to only 50 club members?". Well, as you can see, we didn't! There was just too much talent that we had to let almost 90 of you into the club this year!
Before the club began, many of you either didn't know me, or knew me as a Math and Science teacher, which is what I have ALWAYS wanted to be! I just want to thank all of you for being part of making a second dream of mine come true, directing a Musical Theater Club.
Music has always been a big part of my life and all of you have brought me so much joy. Mondays and Fridays tend to be some of the most stressful days for kids and teachers, but I can honestly say I always look forward to them the most for one major reason: club!
No matter what mistakes may happen at our two shows.... microphones dropping.. batteries rolling all over the place... backdrops falling off the shelves, or even forgetting your lines.. please know that I am INCREDIBLY proud of you all! We have all put over 100 hours of rehearsal time into this production and you have so much to be proud of.
I hope this club helps inspire you to continue pursuing music in many parts of your life, for years to come.
Love,
Mrs. Golden
To my talented musical co-directors:
I don't think any of us realized how much work it would be to put on a musical at the elementary level, but, wow, we have accomplished so much! Thank you all for your endless support, dedication, and pure joy for this project. You have all truly shown that you are here for the kids each and every day. Thank you for all of the early mornings, late nights, shopping trips, laughs, and tears! You are all my heros!
Love,
Mrs. Golden
