Jackson Rhodes

as Jack Kelly

Jackson has been part of each musical cast in his three years at Gold Hill. He is part of Showtime Theatre and has been cast in multiple shows there as well. This is his first time as the main character of a show. He feels confident in his ability to be Jack Kelly. He hopes that you love the show and his acting. 

Philip Penna

as Crutchie

This is Philip’s second musical, but the first was canceled due to COVID.  Philip is strongly inspired by anything with nature and animals.  He is currently taking classes to pursue his dream as a veterinarian.  Philip is also a volleyball player and loves everything about it.

Angelina Hovey

as Race

(Race, Theodore Roosevelt)

This is Angelina’s third production with Gold Hill Middle School. She loves this show and is happy to be a part of it. When she isn’t acting, you can find Angelina shopping for clothes, talking with friends, or doing her makeup. Acting is something that Angelina would like to pursue in the future.

Grace MacHose

as Albert

This is Grace’s 3rd and final musical at GHMS. She has performed in many other plays such as Beauty and the Beast as Chip, Marmalade Gumdrops as Clair, and Annie as Molly. She would like to thank Ms. Shrum and Mr. Welch for giving her the opportunity to perform in this production.

Harry Duda

as Specs

(Specs, Seitz)

Harry has studied acting at the Children’s Theater of Charlotte since he was very young. Until Newsies, his favorite production was Peter Pan. Harry never turns down participating in any sport or activity and was excited to get on the stage with Gold Hill Middle School.
