Beverly Seinberg
as CORA
Beverly Seinberg (Cora) is making her debut with GFCT but is no stranger to the Wood Theater stage, having performed in two (so far) Bent Broadway cabarets and in 2022’s Spoon River Anthology. A self-described “born-again theater geek,” she returned to the boards in 2018 after a 40-year hiatus, playing the Bird Woman in Mary Poppins with Schuylerville Community Theater. She also performed with SCT in the ensemble of Baby (2019) and as the Grinch in Seussical (2022). Bev loves to sing, so she is delighted to be playing Cora, the musical Calendar Girl. Fun fact: She first met our director, Camille, at a coffeehouse open mic 35 years ago and has been a fan ever since.

Laura Roth
as CHRIS
Laura Roth (Chris) has worked in show business her entire adult life. After touring the U.S.A. in rock groups, she held principal roles in the Glens Falls Community Theatre and Capital District Community Theaters. She has worked at Manhattan cabarets with her own act and in revues with current Broadway musical performers. She produced, wrote, and performed in the Wild Women musical comedy shows. She was chosen for the New York State Theater Institute for four world premiere productions, including A Tale of Cinderella, produced by Warner Brothers, has done voice-over work heard internationally, and hosted and starred in Cabaret Central live over NPR. For the past 26 years Laura has toured the Eastern US, including Atlantic City’s Tropicana and Hilton Casino showrooms in her own one-woman variety shows, celebrating the work of over 40 female show business icons, such as Liza, Judy, Cher, and Dolly. Laura is delighted to be working with all these amazing women!
