Justin Maller
Artistic/Musical/Technical Director
Mr. Maller began his musical career at Dr. Charles Best with the lead role in Bye Bye Birdie. Musicals then became a major part of his life and career. Mr. Maller is a graduate of UBC Music and Education programs. He has worked 26 years as a music and theatre educator in the Delta and Coquitlam school districts, where he has served as an Artistic/ Musical/ Technical Director of over 18+ musicals at the high school level. Mr. Maller has also performed with and/or worked for T.U.T.S., and Royal City Musical Theatre. He is currently the Conductor of the Coquitlam Chorale and has recently produced West Side Story, Legally Blonde (covid cancelled), Rent and Into the Woods.
This is Mr. Maller’s fith year teaching in the Coquitlam School District. He is overjoyed to be working in the district were he grew up and at such an amazing school as Gleneagle. Working with Candice Kerr has been truly an honour. Thank you to all the students for all their hard work.

Candice Kerr
Choreographer/Assistant Director
Candice is an alumni of the Gleneagle Theatre Program, and is so excited to have had the opportunity to choreograph this show! She was in Beauty and the Beast in 2016 (Ensemble) and Guys and Dolls in 2017 (Hot Box Dancer/Dance Captain). In 2018, she came back to be the Assistant Choreographer for Sister Act. After, Candice moved to Toronto to attend Randolph College for the Performing Arts. She graduated in 2020, and has been back since then. Candice is so proud and excited to watch these students “give it some zazz”. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Jhairon Apelado
as Ensemble/Sheldon Understudy
Jhairon is in the 10th Grade, and this is his second year in the Musical Theatre Program here. Last year, he played “Cinderella’s Father” in “Into the Woods” and this year he is the understudy for “Sheldon” and part of the ensemble. He is excited that this year’s production involves dances and a bigger cast.

Abegail Avramenko
as Kaylee/Alyssa Understudy
Abegail Avramenko is a grade 9 student. She has performed for the BC Lions and other organizations. She plays the piano, performs Hip-Hop dance, has a Black Belt in Taekwondo, and is a camera actor. Abegail is really thrilled to be performing and can't thank everyone in the cast enough for being so supportive.
