Again, it has been an honor and a pleasure to collaborate with the artists at George Washington High School. This exploration of love that is Almost, Maine is a wonderfully magical time and place that we all know but don't believe exists. The people you're about to meet are people you probably already know--and well. They've come in and out of our lives at some point and provided us with a means to solve our own problems.
I am so glad to return to GW to direct. I've been able to see the growth of actors I've worked with before as well as the discovery of new players. Theatre is like that; the mix of the old and new. I feel lucky to have this opportunity and it has allowed me to grow as an artist as well. Whatever happens after this; wherever we go, we know that we all came together as a group to bring this collection of stories to life for you.
Welcome to Almost, Maine. If we hope it exists, we're romantic. If we believe it exists, we're crazy.
